People have been busy wondering what we've been up to in the background. I suppose now is a good time to fill the community in on what we've been up to these past few months.

MaxSource has formed a partnership with Mutant Cel Productions to re-develop Warheads from the ground up. We are doing this to make use of the capabilities of modern computers, while still supporting our client base. We will be bringing Warheads into the 3D realm at the same time, but never at a cost to our beloved 2D action we're all familiar with.

Some other features that you will be seeing are: revised lobby and chat system, including private messages. There will be a ship designer to build of of some generic types with building blocks beyond that. We are going to entirely revamp the music setup for better support, and quite possibly streaming systems as well. The game's interface will also support multiple 'skin' systems as we develop. Also, there will be an entirely new website, with skins to match those that will be in the game. Yes ladies, we will be taking you into account when we design these skins!

The members of the design team will be joining the forums and the game play soon to ensure that they have a true feeling of how the game and community works. While we progress, it is asked that everyone welcome our designers and artists into the fold!

With a few trees scattered about, one might think they were on the African Veldt, but a closer look at the trees and grass would dispel that notion. The trees were various shades of purple, while the grasses were mostly orange with a few brown spots or patches here and there. On this plain stood row after row of an elephant-like animal, not quite as large as the Earth elephant. Each animal had arms and hands growing out from the side of their heads."

DESCRIPTIF DE WARHEADS

Des combats dans l'espace en réseau. Ce jeu propose des combats au milieu de planètes. Les joueurs (éventuellement l'ordinateur dont il est possible de faire varier la force) évoluent autour des planètes pour se tirer dessus ou s'envoyer des bombes. Il est possible de jouer seul contre la machine ou de disputer des parties en réseau via Internet. Les contrôles sont une combinaison de déplacements et clics de souris et de touches de clavier.
